Striped Maple (Moose Wood) kiln Dried Logs (Style T) (Set of Two).These Log Shelf brackets measure 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" diameter x 10" high x 8" deep. You can drill mounting holes or use hangers (not included). Striped maple has a Beautiful Dark Reddish Brown Bark with verticle striping. The bark is smooth to the touch, and will stay intact indefinatley. It is also called "Moose Wood", as the bark is a delicacy for Moose. It is not uncommon to find Striped Maple saplings stripped of their bark by the hungry Moose. These brackets can be reversed to create a deeper shelf. These are very rugged Log Shelf brackets as they are mortised and tenoned construction. Other species and sizes available just check out the drop down box below. Custom Log Brackets are available. All you will need is a board for the shelf.
