Our log furniture line is designed and crafted with steam bent and Kiln dried hardwoods, with mortise and tenon construction. The species we use in our log furniture are Hard Maple with peeled bark. Alder with bark on. White Birch with bark on. Yellow Birch with bark on. And Striped Maple with bark on. These different hardwoods offer customers a wide choice of appearance. Each has it's own appeal depending on the customers taste.

I have spent literally years perfecting the design and construction of this furniture line. Steam bending the rear & front chair/rocker legs/post to provide a very comfortable radius for sitting. And kiln drying small diameter logs to 6 to 8 % moisture content that will provide a solid piece of furniture that I would personally guarantee for a life time and beyond. I won't be around to guarantee this furniture in fifty years, but I hope my grandchildren will be.

We do NOT use veneers in our furniture. We use solid hardwoods, Pine and Antique Lumber. We use the best materials with the best joinery (Mortise & Tenon) in handcrafting our Log Furniture. Our hardwood Logs are kiln dried which prevents warping, shrinking, splitting and bark seperation. Cedar Logs is an exception to the hardwoods as it air dries very quickly as it contains very little moisture.
